Your F-1 visa application may be denied based on U.S. immigration law. When this happens, the reason(s) and section(s) of the law denied under will be given to you in your paperwork. If you don’t meet the eligibility qualifications, your application will be outrightly rejected. You cannot appeal the consular officer’s decision. However, you may reapply if you believe that your circumstance has changed since your last interview and will help establish eligibility for F-1 visa. There is no time limit on resubmitting an application after a refusal. If you have additional information and supporting documentation ready and can further demonstrate your eligibility for an F-1 visa, you can resubmit your application.
